It’s 10pm, and you’re in Kids’ Corner of ED. It’s nearly handover, and you still have 5 children with abdominal pain to sort out. The surgical registrar is in bed, only to be disturbed for urgent operations. Surely there’s something you can do at the bedside to help you decide their disposition?
